Catherine Tansey is a Oaxaca-based freelance journalist and content specialist. She writes about architecture, design, and food + bev in and around México, and has written for the publications Condé Nast Traveler, Vogue, Fodor’s, and more.

Catherine is drawn to stories with a distinct sense of place and is especially inspired when reporting on stories in her adopted homeland. When she’s not writing or reporting, she’s refining her Spanish. Catherine also consults on content and communication strategies for beverage brands and spent many years as a business writer and reporter.
